Lucy & Daniel // Glen Affric Elopement Photographer

Lucy & Daniel // Glen Affric Elopement // October 2017

Lucy and Daniel’s wedding was so unbelievably special that I almost don’t want to share it with the world, but it was also so beautiful that I want everyone to see it and fall in love with this amazing family as much as I did!

We all drove out to the Glen Affric view point car park and done a little hike up to the view point where we were greeted by an absolutely stunning view with the most amazing Autumnal colours and good old Highland scenery. It was honestly like nothing I’ve ever seen, especially since most of the time I spend in the Highlands is in the summer so the entire colour palette was completely different than what I’m used to.

Lucy and Daniel had a small, intimate humanist ceremony with their children and Lucy’s immediate family watching over them. Despite little Bea’s protest to be held by anyone but Lucy, we managed to sneak off and get some time to take some shots of Daniel and Lucy alone. Towards the end of our little portrait session Lucy mentioned that this was the first time they had been alone together in a while. I couldn’t have been happier to have been able to give them that little snippet of time together on their wedding day to soak it all in.

“We are beside ourselves smug that we managed to hire such an amazing photographer for our wedding - not only because we have some phenomenally beautiful images that really captured exactly the mood, tone and spirit of the day but also because she provided us with what was the most wonderful intimate interlude in our day to enjoy being together and creating some pictures together in the most romantic relaxed atmosphere. I can’t really thank Lianne enough for being so lovely, relaxed and sweet. She really was a key figure in our wedding in a quiet way and we will always be grateful. It was a perfect day, perfectly remembered - thanks Lianne!”
