Lulu & Chris decided to travel across to Skye for an intimate wedding with their closest family & friends. We started off the morning with some slow paced preparations, where Lulu’s mum performed a ceremonial hair combing while reciting a blessing. It was a truly touching, emotional moment that I felt so honoured to have witnessed and capture for them.
We headed out to the Quiraing for the ceremony and some portraits then headed out to the Fairy Glen, stopping for a spot of lunch on the way. After leaving them to have some time with their loved ones in the afternoon I then met back up with them in the evening for a wonderful dinner and speeches, Lulu’s mum tried sticky toffee pudding for the first time (and loved it!) then we popped out for a quick group photo and escaped as the midges were looming in.
Days like these hold such a special place with me - being welcomed to not only document these memories for couples and their friends & families but to also really share it with them and feel like a real part of their day. I honestly can’t describe how much it warms my wee heart!
